Adequately Insuring Intellectual Property Is The Latest Business Headache

Data Backup and Recovery A Concern for Businesses of All Sizes

September means more than back to school for kids. It’s also when most companies are working to meet or exceed this year’s numbers and planning for 2008. The future is always uncertain, but next year may bring more than its share of unknowns: Will there be a global credit crunch that shoves the economy into recession? Will spillover from the American presidential election affect Canadian businesses and global trade? How can smart companies address climate change and greenhouse gas issues without bankrupting the company? And the list goes on.

A key benefit of interim management is that it enables companies to bring more certainty to nearly every aspect of their business, especially as we approach the fourth quarter. Whether it is planning capital or cash flow needs or finding ways to outsmart and outmaneuver competitors, an interim executive can help you deal with specific issues while you keep your eye focused on the bigger picture.

We’ll be examining some of these concerns over the next while. This issue begins with a way to build sales and make competitors irrelevant now, while creating a lasting revenue generating engine in your business.

I hope your fourth quarter results meet expectations, and that this month’s newsletter helps you plan for 2008 with a definite sense of certainty and optimism.
